An Introduction to
Fibre Artist Jill Harrison
Jill Harrison lives and works in rural Aberdeenshire and many of her pieces are inspired by this beautiful setting and the creatures she encounters. Jill is a master of wool and she creates magnificent pieces full of light and colour. Her work covers a broad range of subject choice from still life flowers in vases, natural landscapes and wild animals to popular culture and village scenes. There really is something for everyone!
Jill has her own flock of sheep ranging from Hebridian and Shetland to the rare breeds of Castlemilk Moorit and Soav. She hand processes the fibres for her work and you can see the love she has for her flock in the 'wool paintings' she creates.
